Rosemary Tea Wands

Each Tea Wand was hand-sculpted
from the wood that remained
after our eldest
and most cherished
Rosemary perished.

She browned and became rigid
after the arctic blast of 2022.

Months passed.
We waited for a sign
from the roots or perhaps a stem.
That spring, branches were bent.
Was her story spent?
They snapped.
Splintering twigs.

Rosemary is entrancing.
She is wise.
She is resilient.
She has many memories.
Stories told in each branch
unfolding with each curve and knot.
The times she stretched and reached for the sun.
The humid Mississippi summers
where her stems grew roots to quench her thirst.
These seasons sculpted her beautiful curves.
Now this portion of her story can be part of yours.

Each wand is made from 100% Rosemary wood and around 5" in length.
They're hand-sculpted using a pick and sandpaper in our garden (often following Gouda around on his adventures).
